Kozhikode : Film director Ramasimhan Aboobaker(Ali Akbar) has resigned from BJP. The resignation comes close on heels of exits by Director Rajasena and actor Bheeman Raghu.
Ramasimhan was a member of BJP’s State Committee and chose to leave over Party’s neglect of artistes. He also said there was no space for free opinion inside BJP. Ramasimhan confirmed his resignation on Facebook and said he was free and not slave to any politics.
Earlier, Ramasimhan came out with strong criticism of K Sirendran and taunted that KJP(Kerala Janata Party) was not BJP. Ramssimhan said the reason behind leaving was that state leadership ignored him despite being a State Committee member. He send his resignation letter by email to the state president a week ago, said Ramasimhan. There ‘s nothing more to add at the moment, he said.
