Thiruvananthapruam : Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan shared concerns of severe rains forecast for the state. As per IMD info, the state will have heavy rainfall for next two days, beside which, severe rains are likely to occur during two weeks after, especially in the mid-south regions of Kerala, said CM in Facebook post on Saturday.
With westerly winds gaining strength, the southern districts of Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam are likely to become hard-ht places and relief camps are being opened for residents from risk areas, read CM’s post.
