Thrissur: Women leaders in MSF lodge complaint with Vanita Commission against their State President, PK Navaz over sexual innuendo.
The women members had earlier notified the Muslim League leadership of their grievance, however according to them, there was no action forthcoming. Women leaders in Harita who haven't delivered children were branded as feminists, the complaint stated. In the complaint that bore signatures form 10 women, they sought action against Navaz and Malappuram District Secretary Abdul Wahab too.
The complaint refers to the state committee meeting held in Kozhikode in which, the president asked women of their opinion on organizational matters with remark that “prostitutes too after all would have their own point of view.”
The men leaders in MSF portray party’s women workers with sexual contours and attempt to crumble their morale. The Malappuram District General Secretary V. Abdul Wahab makes phone calls to women members humiliating them sexually-peppered comments. He also threatened to end their political activities of those that will not submit to his wishes, the complaint stated.
