THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : The police on Saturday arrested three Kerala Students Union(KSU) workers in connection with violence carried out against students at University college.
Those arrested were identified as Kanamoola resident Krishnakanth(33) from Kalluvettamkuzhi Veedu , Kilimanoor resident Adesh(22) from Kannumel Ganga Bhavan and Neyattinkara native R S Akshay(25) from Ushas Veedu.
The police nabbed all three from Bakery Junction today around 3.30 pm.
The trio had triggered violent attacks on Friday injuring several students at the campus including a female student Lenal. SFI workers Bhagat and Swarup sustained serious injuries in the incident.
All three have been booked on accusation of non-bailable offences.
