Should Tide Over Moments of Communal Tensions : CM

Kochi : We should be able to tide over times  that  when buildup of  communal tensions occur, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. CM was speaking at the online inaugural of the Chavara Cultural Centre’s golden Jubilee celebrations in Ernakulam. CM offered remembrances to the renowned renaissance priest saying St. Chavara was  a great social reformer who strengthened the Malayalii community through his activities in the field of education, arts and literature.

St. Chavara led Kerala toward the goal of full literacy by upholding the lofty concept of school by side of Church.. G Sankara Kurup and MK Nanu encouraged setting up of the CMI Sabha Centre. Chavara should be able to continue the tradition of progressive values, said CM

CMI Prior General Rev. Dr. Thomas Chathttaparambil presided over the function. Opposition Leader VD Satheesan delivered the keynote address.
