Thiruvananthapuram : Single Window Boards will be set up across industrial parks in the state to facilitate speedier permissions for business enterprises - a step toward upscaling state’s business friendly environment and investment promotion, said Industries Minister P Rajeev. The decision came about at an industrial parks assessment meeting chaired by the minister on Friday. The new Board is over and above the existing district-level three-tier single window system overseen by the Industries Principal Secretary and Chief Secretary.
Boards will be set up a KSIDC, KINFRA and CDAC parks and a separate web portal will be launched to evaluate progress of development at industrial parks. The second phase works of KSIDC Life Science Park will begin in September. Separate packages will be designed for Kannur Vailiya Velicham Industrial Growth Centre and KINFRA Defence Park. Plans are also on the anvil for a Pharma park at KINFRA Petrochemical Park. Letter of Interest will be invited toward developing infrastructure for Spice Park and spaces available with Land Bank will be utilised to attract entrepreneurs, said the minister..
