Skill Development Program To Be Restructured To Match Industrial Needs : Min P. Rajeev

Thiruvananthapuram : The Skills Development program shall be restructured to match demands of modern industries, said Industries Minister P. Rajeev. The minister was inaugurating “DEXO Industry-Academia Connect” - a web platform and design expo launched jointly by KSIDC, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological  University and INCAETEK.

DEXO - INCAETEK’s the first-of-its-kind initiative in the country with focus on engineering design -  brings together young engineering experts, engineering products and start-ups. DEXO will benefit students across 146 engineering colleges in the state, the minister said.

Countrywide, INCAETEK - the startup set up with KSIDC support - functions under India Council for Technical Education as its skill knowledge partner and inside Automotive Skill Development Council.

Speakers at the inaugural included KSIDC MD, MG Rajmanikam, APJ Abdul Kalam Technical  University Vice Chancellor,  Dr.M Rajeshree and Digital University Vice Chancellor Dr. Saji Gopinnath.
