Thiruvananthapuram; The sensational sexual abuse case pertaining to Solar scam during the UDF tenure is all set to encounter investigation.at CBI hands. The case is being forwarded to CBI based on the alleged victim’s written complaint to Chief Minister recently.
Leaders alleged of involvement in the case are former Chief Minister Oomen Chandy and Congress leaders KC Venugopal, AP Anil Kumar, Adoor Prakash and Hibi Eden. The govt has issued notification regarding handover of the case.
Along side Solar, sexual assault case against BJP leader AP Abdullah Kutty too is being moved to CBI. During UDF tenure, the case had been looked into by Crime Branch.
Crime Branch has presently decided to forward six of its cases over to CBI.
