The government is firm on decision there would be no compromise with regard to corruption. Some have known the taste of corruption.  They cannot  however get away scott-free forever. When caught, they will face consequences. There is no closely-guarded secret these days. Some may not have accepted bribe in the technical sense. However, is corruption possible without knowledge of those around ? , asked CM, adding that, members of general public should not be viewed as enemies.

Palakkayam Case : Village field assistant V Sureshkumar(51) was arrested by Vigilance over  bribery charges. Sleuths recovered lakhs of rupees in his rented house during raid. The Palakkayam Village Officer however in his statement to Vigilance said, he was unaware of Sureshkumar’s doings.
