Pathanamthitta : Aged couple ere hacked to death by their son in Pathanamthitta’s Thiruvalla. The deceased were identified as Krishnankutty(72) and Bhargavi(70). Police took their son Anil(40) into custody for the crime. The incident that took place this morning in Parumala’s Nakad Ashariparambu.
After the slayings, Anil created a panicky situation and neighbours alerted police to the incident. The deceased couple will be autopsied at Kottayam Medical college. Anil is suspected to be a drug user.
