Special Interventions Will Be Made for the Development of Malabar's Tourism: Minister Muhammad Riyas

Kannur > At a press conference, Minister P.A. Muhammad Riyas announced that targeted efforts will be implemented to develop tourism in Malabar. Pre-COVID statistics reveal that only six percent of tourists visiting Kerala reach Malabar, and initiatives are currently underway to improve this figure.

In Wayanad, the campaign 'Ente Keralam ennum sundharam' has been started. The minister stated that efforts will be made to promote Malabar's tourist destinations and historical features to visitors. Additionally, the tourism department will focus on attracting social media influencers and professionals from the travel industry to the region.
