Kasaragod : Education Minister V. Sivankutty, at a press conference on Monday, announced dates for SSLC, Plus II and VHSE exams. SSLC model exams will commence 21 March and conclude on 25th while SSLC Board exams will begin 31 March lasting up to 29 April. SSLC practical exams shall be conducted between 10 March and the 19th.
Plus II and VHSE model exams will be held from 16th March up to the 21st while VHSE and Plus II Board exams will commence on 30 March u to 22 April. The Plus II practicals shall be held between 21 Feb and 15 April.
There would be no change to school timings as of now. More students in large numbers have arrived to attend school. Over 9 lakh new admissions to schools have been reported. The number of girls schools shall stand reduced. Approval shall be granted for co-ed schools if concerned PTAs approve conversion. Gender-neutral uniforms shall be brought into effect at schools where PTA is agreeable. Co-education must be encouraged, said the minster.
