Kaladi : In the stabbing death of Kaladi woman, husband Shaiju confesses to murder.
Sunita(36) was stabbed to death yesterday afternoon 2 pm. Neighbours rushed to her aid hearing screams and took her to a private hospital in Angamaly, but it was too late.
Sunita died from deep stab wound to her chest. Her body was cremated today after postmortem.
Shaiju was brought in for questioning and his version arouse suspicions. When pressed for answers , he finally admitted to the crime. According to Shaiju, the couple argued over domestic matter and as the fight escalated, he stabbed Sunita in a fit of rage.
The murder was investigated by Ayyampuzha Inspector M Manoj, Kaladi Station SIs TB Bibin, Vpin V Pillai, S Sukesan, KA Polachan, G Satheesan, SCPO MV Jayanthi and others
