Thrissur: : The mention of Jamaat-e-Islami frays Mullappally Ramachandran’s nerves on meeting with reporters on Tuesday in Thrissur.
When a reporter asked the KPCC president for greater clarity on UDF-Welfare Party ties, Mullappally shot back with a “Please Stop It”.
“Don’t speak any more on that topic. Have you nothing else to ask? At whose behest are you here with these kind of unwarranted questions? Please tell me. For your management or some political party. Keep quiet ,” Mullappally fumed.
Contextt: The Welfare Party recently last week came out with revelations that Mullappally had initiated talks for arrangements for local body elections. And, the reporter at Thrissur had sought greater clarity in the matter.
