Chennai : Tamil Nadu has tightened testing for travelers coming in from Kerala. Health Minister M Subramanian and Devaswom Minister TK Shekhan Babu helmed the testing drive at Chennai Central railway station early this morning.
People if arriving from Kerala must possess covid negative certificate or a certificate indicating complete vaccination with 2 doses. Failing to do this, they must undergo RT-PCR test and wait until results are received to know if they can proceed further from the station. The decision for strict testing of Kerala travelers came about on 5th this month.
