Thiruvananthapuram : The KPCC office is hub to a violent gang after K Sudhakaran became the president, opine a section of Congress leaders.
These elements were inducted as semi cadre, training class, CUC observers of leaders, paid leader and so forth after a two-day leadership camp held in Thiruvananthapuram. However, all things promised falling flat, Sudhakaran’s trip to the capital was namesake.
Still, these elements known as the CUC surveillance group has made KPCC office their haunt. Several leaders questioned their spending spree with doing nothing for the party. Reacting to it, the gang began to threaten longtime staff working in the office.
When KPCC Treasurer V Prathapchandran refused to pay for unaccountable expenses, they lashed their temper on him. Their threatned on grounds that KPCC President had after all asked them to take money for purchases.
However Prathapchandran refused to yield and this led to a hail of verbal abuses. Opposition Leader VD Satheesan too has made ibe recruitment into this gang. Following the ruckus and threat, Ajith, the KPCC’s PRO, lodged complaint with the police. Several leaders have demanded immediate dissolution of the office.
