New Delhi : The Supreme Court on Tuesday reprimanded state over easing Covid restrictions for Bakri-Eid but fell short of cancelling the government order citing that the three-day validity for relaxations ends today.
The Bench comprising justices Rohington Nariman and BR Gavai was hearing a petition filed by Delhi-based Malayali businessman questioning state government’s 3-day Covid relaxation for Bakri-Eid, which the petitioner said was hazardous to life. The apex court yesterday asked Kerala government to file affidavit in response to the petition.
