Kozhikode : Muslim League leaders accepting honour of shawls, soaked in blood of the minorities, are in effect spiking politics of genocide, said CPI(M).
The League leadership must clarify stand on its leader TT Ismail receiving ponnada(traditional shawl at BJP venue from the party’s District President amidst slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai, ” said CPI(M) District Secretariat.
The League leadership should answer why leader from its party, that claims to be one for Muslims, should get honoured at venue organised by Sangh Parivar that incessantly engages in hate propaganda against Muslims and ethnic cleansing.
It appears the League is hooked into Sangh Parivar’s gameplan to expand base for BJP whose sole account in State has been closded down.
The shawl honour incident is indicative of a new movement, under aegis of K Sudharan whose leadership has reduced Congress and UDF to becoming BJP’s close chum, against Kerala’s development and its govt.
The League leaders must not forget that Babri Masjid was razed down amid sloganeering of “Bolo Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Jai Sriram”. It was also with cries of “Bolo Bharat Mata Ki Jai” that, over two thousand Muslims in Gujarat fell prey to genocide.
All section of believers and secular-minded people must come out strongly against this bonding with BJP under leadership of League and UDF, the District Secretriat.
