Thiruvananthapuram : The State Industries department will promote non-conventional energy toward which, research in this field shall be prioritised, said Industries Minister P Rajeev, speaking at the inaugural of EVOLVE - an international conference and expo on e-mobility and non-conventional energy sources. Transport Minister Antony Raju presided over the function.
The 4-day international fair is seeing participation from automobile researchers, battery manufacturers, start-ups and vehicle manufacturers both from within and outside the country. Attendees at the inaugural also included Ministers KN Balagopal, K Rajan, Chief Secretary Dr. VP Joy, German Consul General in India Ahim Barkat, Mayor Arya Rajendran, Transport Department Secretary Biju Prabhakar and Transport Commissioner S Sreejith.
