Balusserry : Three, including a Youth League leader, was arrested in Balusserry with possession of MDMA. Taken into custody are : Youth League’s Cyber Coordinator in Karachund Panchayat, Pazheri Riyas(29), Peraandra Menjanyam Karakonathal Rahim(27) and Karachund Mayil Shashif Ali. The group landed in hands of team led by Balussery SI K. Rafiqh.
During patrolling Sunday dawn 1.45 am, the police came upon the gang. A routine search of the car they were traveling in flipped up 48 gm of MDMA. The group operate as major retail outlet to drug users, said police. All three were produced in Koylandi court and sent into remand.
