Thrissur : A man in Cherur murdered his wife smashing her head with a iron rod. The deceased is identified as Suli(46) and her suspect husband as Unnikrishnan a resident of Kalladimoola.

Unnikrishnan gave himself at the police station soon after the crime. He had come home from his workplace in Gulf only three days ago. The murder, the police consider, is from Unnikrishnan’s suspicions of infidelity with regard to his wife.
