Thrissur : A doctor at Thrissur Medical College was arrested for possession of illegal drugs. Booked on drug charges is the hospital’s House Surgeon Dr, Akhil Mohamed Hussain.
The doctor was nabbed after shadow police kept close watch on his activities. In his room at the private hostel they seized 2.4 gm MDMA and LSD stamps. Also found was remnants from used hashish oil/
Police were tipped on wide drug abuse surrounding the Medical College, prompting shadow police to keep potential suspects on their radar.
