THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : In reply to a query in the Assembly, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told the House that, the govt has sought report from DGP on case against news reporters over complaint lodged by TP Senkumar.
The query came amid Emergency Motion. CM said the incident relating to reporters being booked was noticed only shortly before, up on which the DGP was asked to submit an urgent report. Former DGP Senkumar might have exerted some influence to have the case registered, CM added.
