Tree Falls On Running Vehicles In Malappuram

Malappuram : Tree fell on moving vehicles at two places in Malappuram. The first mishap occurred in Mubarak where tree fell onto a running bus on the Kozhikode – Edavannapara route. The conductor and passengers suffered minor injuries and some window panes were shattered by falling branches. The accident here took place around 8 am this morning. Fire Force arrived at the scene and cut down the tree wholly.

In the second instance, a mni lorry was struck by tree that descended to its top. The incident took place at 8:45 am Tuesday at Kunnumel, Tamarakuzhy. The two persons trapped inside the truck were later rescued and admitted to hospital.
