Thrissur : A tribal woman was found murdered in Athirapally and police suspect her husband is the killer. The deceased has been identified as Geeta (22), a native of Anpantham, living in KSEB quarters near Peringalkuth Dam.
Geetha’s husband Anapatanam native, Suresh, is missing and is suspected to be n the run. Geetha’s mother Janaki works as sweeper in KSEB’s Peringalkuth Section office. Geeta and Suresh lived in Janaki’s quarters near Peringalkuth Govt LP School.
According to neighbours, Suesh constantly quarreled with Geeta. There was a noisy fight that occurred recently at late hour and the family called in police. Just as the police was sorting out matters, Suresh left and took Geeta with him. She was discovered dead at 7 this morning.
