Thiruvananthapuram :The government issued revised guidelines for districts under triple lockdown which currently comprise Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Malappuram.
As in other districts , all banks in triply locked districts shall operate only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in districts with minimal staff only during its opening hours from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm noon. In the previous order, commercial banks were to open on Tuesday and Friday and cooperative banks to stay open on Monday and Thursday. For smooth banking services, it is essential that all banks operate simultaneously, hence the revised working days.
Milk and Newspaper
Milk and newspaper distribution related activities must all end by 8 am in the morning throughout the state. The same timing applies to sale of fish too. Earlier, the newspaper and milk distribution was restricted to 6 in the morning.
