Two Seriously Injured As School Van Flips On Its Side In Kannur

Sreekantapuram : A school van belonging to Srekantapuram Govt UP School skid on its side leaving two critically injured. The mishap took place 10 am at Peruvalathparambu Wednesday morning. All those hurt have been admitted to private hospital at Srikantapuram, except for two students Devangana and Sri Hari who have been shifted to Kannur Medical College for specialised care.

There were 16 children on board at the time of the accident. The van serves Irikoor, Peruvallathuparambu and Kutttav among other places. According to preliminary findings the vehicle brakes malfunctioned
