Thiruvananthapuram : The UDF is afraid of investigations into Solar issue, knowing all too well that differences inside UDF will come to light, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan. If investigations happen, there would be internal turmoil, the reason why individuals who demanded investigation earlier now say ‘no’ to it, said MV Govindan.
Moves against the Left are now hitting back at Congress and hard. Public now have a fair knowledge of leaders who tried to trap Oomen Chandy who was Chief Minister at the time. CPI(M) is not party to Solar case. It is Congress that did it all including appointment of Commission to inquire Solar controversy related to Oomen Chandy, said MV Govindan.
The interventions made by person who was then Home Minister, too is now out in the open. Congress leaders are holding press conferences and telling different things each time. It is UDF leaders who controlled investigations during the Solar case days, the Party Secretary told reporters.
