Thiruvananthapuram : The Opposition seeks to stay facts hidden and distract public attention in accusing government of not letting the central agencies take up Kodakkara investigations to find origins of the havala money, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the Assembly.
UDF expresses concern over not letting the case on to central agencies. In effect, UDF is asking for a case, UDf itself acknowledges BJP is guilty of, to be investigated by agencies headed by BJP-led government. That’s rather huge trust UDF has of BJP. The state government cannot however follow UDF’s style of bringing in central agencies to investigate matters relevant and non-relevant to their purview and reap political leverage out of it, said CM. The state government does not follow a policy of incriminating some in the name of political enmity and having others acquitted for political interests, said CM.
CM was responding to an adjournment motion moved by the Opposition on the topic on Monday.
