Kottayam : UDF loses power in Kottayam municipality after no-confidence motion against its Chairperson passes with a 29 vote majority.
In the 52-member council, 29 vote is the victory mark. 21 LDF members and 8 members of the BJP backed the no-trust motion. 1 LDF vote turned invalid and 22 UDF members kept away from the voting.
