Puthupally : In Puthupally byelection following demise of former Chief Minister Oomen Chandy, his son Chandy Oomen and UDF candidate scored sweeping victory. The win rode high on sympathy wave and beat prior records securing a 37719 finish-lead for Chandy Oomen. The frontal scores figured at UDF 78,649, LDF 41,982 and others 6486.
