Kochi : UDF will see reduced majority in Thrikkakara byelection, said the party’s District Convener Dominic Presentation. To my calculation, Uma Thomas will win with a vote lead of between 5000 – 8000, said the convener.
Although several votes might have flipped over owing to sensation kicked up by minsters and the Chief Minister combined, Uma Thomas is bound to win with a lead of 5000 to 8000 votes. The poll outcome will not change anything much. There would be no change to govt, the reason why several voters stayed away from casting their ballot, said Dominic.
