Moonad, KASARAGOD : Kerala would be on the forefront against Centre’s decision to implement Uniform Civil Code, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan. He was inaugurating the P Raghavan Memorial Conference in Moonad, Kasaragod.
Uniform Civil Code will annihilate the country’s diversity. The seminar in Kozhikode on the 15th is being organized for discussion of these matters. It has been clarified that the communal-minded would not find entry there. The next question is, whether Congress is an invitee. Thing is, they do no have a clear stand on the issue. Rahul says one thing and Chidambaram another. Even in Kerala, arguments are galore. Muslim League is part of UDF at present. Rest of the matter depends on their say, said MV Govindan.
Media channels are together creating coup against CPI(M) in Kerala. Event management companies are flushed with crores of rupees to deploy fake campaigns. Even captions for Congress is decided by these outfits. All the fake controversies will eventually die out. It is not Party’s job to focus on media agenda and their lies, said MV Govindan.
