Use Of Live Cobra At Seminar: Vava Suresh Gets Anticipatory Bail

Kochi : The High Court on Monday allowed anticipatory bail for popular snake catcher, Vava Suresh, in the case relating to exhibition of venomous cobra at a seminar in Kozhikode.

The incident took place at an event organised jointly by the Clinical Nursing Education and Nursing Education Department of the Medical College in November. When his turn came to address the audience, Vava Suresh propped up a live cobra beside the mike. He has been charged under sections of wildlife protection act.

The bail is against a Rs 50000 bond and 2 personal sureties.
