Kochi : The High Court on Tuesday issued notice to respondents including Chancellor meaning Governor in the case filed by state government over appointment of Vice Chancellor at Technical University.
The Govt in court argued it had right to recommend names for potential VC appointments The petition came in the wake of Raj Bhavan rejecting recommended names from Govt for VC appointment at APJ Abdul Kalam university and instead psting Dr.Ciza Thomas as VC in-charge of the university. .
The High Court will take up on Friday the petition seeking to stay VC appointment at the university.
