Thiruvananthapuram : BJP is spreading communalism in the name of faith, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan. The BJP president K Surendran’s words are the worst form of communal fanaticism. He speaks with madness of an extreme fundamentalist, said MV Govindan.
“Opposition Leader VD Satheesan and K Surendran have been talking the same view for long now. There are underlying thoughts in Satheesan’s subconscious. Knowingly or unknowingly, they find their way into proclamations he makes from time to time. CPI(M) stands by genuine believers. Ganpathi is part of religious tradition,” said MV Govindan, adding that, neither he nor Shamseer spoke of Allay being non-mythical and Ganapathi being myth.
