Vehicle Carrying Labourers Overturns In Chinnakanal; 8 Injured

Idukki : A vehicle carrying labourers overturned in Chinnakanal’s Papathichola injring eight of whom, condition of one is critical and remains at the hospital. Others were discharged after first aid.

The accident took place Saturday morning. The site of accident is a deserted one and locals at Papathichola did all the rescue.

The jeep was headed to plantation with workers native to Suryanelli, when it plunged into the gorge(Koka). There were nine people in the vehicle at the time of accident, including the driver.
