Thiruvananthapuram : The court on Wednesday revoked PC George’s earlier bail in context of hate mongering. The ruling came on Prosecution’s appeal citing the leader had once again engaged in stirring communal passions in violation of bail terms. Before arriving at the verdict, the court examined CD on PC’s inflammatory statements made during his address at Mahasivakshetra convention in Vennala.
Early this month, PC George had delivered communally charged address at Ananthapuri Mahasamellanam in Thiruvananthapuram . Arrested on 1 May, he was produced at the judge’s residence same day and released on bail. However, his unsettling briefing to media soon after his release and inciting communal passions afterwards at Mahasivakshetra convention in Vennala, has just cost him that freedom.
