Palakkad : The decades-old Victoria Govt. College marked historic milestone by figuring in the first 100th rank on National Institutional Ranking Framework(NIRF) results this year. . It scored 99th position on charts. NIRF is a methodology adopted by the Union Ministry of Education that makes evaluation based on various parameters such as resources, research, stakeholder perception etc for ranking purposes.
Six colleges from Kerala has made it into the first hundred on NIFR 2021 including six government colleges – the Kerala University College in 25th position, Thiruvananthapuram Govt. Women’s college(48th rank), Kasaragod Govt college (82nd ), Ernakulam Maharajas college (92nd) and Thalassery Brennan College(97th). Victoria College ranks 6th among colleges from Kerala. Up until now, Victoria featured between 100 – 150 in the rankings.
