Kochi: While lending its approval for continued CBI probe, the High Court clarified that neither Chief Minister nor ministers have done any wrong in the decisions they made toward the housing project in Wadakanchery.
The state leadership cannot be accused for corruption among officials handling a project, the court clarified. The ruling came from Justice P Somarajan in the hearing of CBI petition seeking to vacate the stay over its probe into Wadakanchery project.
The advocate appearing for government argued the case was part of deep-set conspiracy against the government whose image they seek to destroy by trailing wrongful acts of officials.
