Malappuram : A 27-year old woman was found murdered inside her house in Vazhacaud in Malappuram. The victim has been identified as Shakir from Ananthayoor Ellam in Vilattassery.
Ligature marks around her neck suggest she was strangulated using rope, although the official cause of death will be determined only after postmortem.
Meanwhile, police have launched a search for the dead woman’s husband found missing after the incident.
