Alappuzha : A woman was discovered dead inside a well in what appeared to have been a forceful pushing into her watery grave.
The incident took place on Sunday in Alappuzha. The victim of suspected homicide is Dalketti Ambalam native and wife of Late Anantu, Meera aged 58. She had come to her brother’s home Pattarumadathil in Pallipatt Muri.
There was no one at home when she arrived. The brother, Anumon, who came later did not find Meera and conducted search of the place around before stumbling up on her lifeless body in the house well.
The body has been moved to Harippad Taluk hospital and police are waiting for postmortem results to investigate events that led to her death.
