DCC President Talks Limited To Names on Group Lists; K Sudhakaran’s Move Aimed For Cutting Out Mullappally

Thiruvananthapuram : Most districts witnessed multiple nominations for the post of  DCC President from various Groups,  leading to fierce arguments at nearly all  places including Kottayam. K Sudhakaran is looking to cut Mullappally out by getting Oomen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala to reach a consensus. Uninvited to talks with leadership were VM Sudheeran and MM Hassan. Efforts are on to divide DCC president posts among A - I Groups and the Sudhakaran faction.

Talks held Monday mostly revolved only around names featuring in the probability list. Names with added weightage for Thiruvananthapuram were former minister VS Sivakumar, Palakkad Ravi and T Sharathchandra Prasad. Of the 3 names in Kollam,  Shanavaz Khan and AM Nazeer gained preference. On radar in Pathanamthitta were Aneesh Parkanamala and Satheesh Kochuparambil while  Babu Prassad and Koshi  M Koshi featured as Alappuzha probables. Muhammad Shiyaz in Ernakulam, TV Chandramohan in Thrissur, Aryadan Sukhat in Malappuram and Martin in Kannur were forefront names for their respective districts. Lists for Idukki, Kottayam, Wayanad and Kasaragod are caught up in heavy Group cross fire meanwhile.
