Piravam : Police in Ramamangalam arrested Youth Congress leader for molesting his friend’s daughter. Arrested in the incident is 29-year-old Srampikal Elju Baby.
According to sources, Elju has been sexually assaulting the minor for over an year now. He has been charged with POCSO.
Elju is a Youth Congress Mandalam Committee member and also the Congress Booth President. Incidentally, there was similar accusation against Elju an year ago and the party had removed him from incumbent posts.
