Mattancherry : Five Youth Congress members in Mattenchery were sent to 14-day remand for barging into PWD office there and locking up a lone woman staff inside. The gang reported went to the office to protest bad condition of roads in the area.
Arrested and remanded are : Parayambili Mandalam president, Ashkar Babu(37) from Edakochii, Sebin George(33) from Kunbalangi, Jinu Vincent(26) from Kattapassery and Niksil(22) from Kannamali.
