Ollur : What started as arguments by drunk patrons inside a toddy shop in Naynkunn Thycattuserry escalated to stabbing leaving one dead. The deceased is 41-year-old Bobby from Ponthekan Veedu in Thycattilssery. Police took into custody the suspect, Rajesh aka Aadu Rajesh(31) who lives on rental at Pambukal Veedu in Chettussery.
The incident took place this morning. In the midst of their argument, Rajesh flashed a knife he had and stabbed Bobby in the chest and back. Though rushed to the private hospital nearby, Bobby succumbed to death soon after.
