Lucknow: A 19-year-old girl Dalit girl in Uttar Pradesh met a gruesome end after the assailants inflicted wounds all over her body and cut her tongue off after raping her. The victim who was being treated at AIIMS, Delhi breathed her last this morning.
The incident took place on 14th of this month in Hathrasil Taluk, where the girl was found lying severely wounded and tongue ripped off. She was first admitted to the government hospital in Hatrasi and was moved to AIIMS in Delhi when her condition deteriorated further.
The doctors affirmed the girl was subject to brutal gangrape. The police have taken two persons into custody in the case so far.
