New Delhi: Two farmers were killed during rally when police clashed with protesters at ITO in Delhi. One farmer died from bullet wound in police firing while other died from tractor overturning, said leaders of farmers’ organisations. 10 tractors met with accident in the violence and 2 of injured are in serious condition.
The protesters rallied in the capital carrying body of the slain farmer. Police are yet to make a statement on the death that allegedly took place in their line of fire. Farmers said that police moved the victim’s body from the original spot of shooting.
