NEW DELHI: CPI(M) State Secretariat acting secretary, A. Vijayaraghavan reached protest venue endorsing solidarity for ongoing farmers’ agitation against the three contentious farm laws passed by the Modi government in September. Vijayaraghavan joined the protests with farmers agitating at Uttar Pradesh border of Ghazhipuri, where he spoke congratulating the protesters for their fight for fair demands.
The protests demanding repeal of farm laws have now entered day 25. In the agitation participated by thousands of farmers, three have died so far. Even as severe winter climbs along freezing temperatures, the centre refuses to pull back the detrimental laws that are designed to enrich the corporates at cost of the farmers’ wellbeing
