New Delhi : Air India's Delhi-London flight landed back at Delhi Airport after a unruly passenger assaults cabin crew. Two staff were injured in the incident.
Up on landing, Delhi Police arrived on board and booked the violent passenger. The flight had departed from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport at 6.30 am and was bound for London's Heathrow Airport with 225 passengers.
As the place gained altitude, there broke an argument between the crew and the passenger who refused to heed verbal and written warnings. The passenger then hit the crew injuring two. The assailant was deplaned and taken to Airport police station where Air India lodged complaint on the incident. The Delhi police is meanwhile investigating the confrontation.
